Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tom Jordan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Childerley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Tom Jordan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Paul Childerley! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Richard Clark and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jordan fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Childerley sprawls well initially but Jordan persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Childerley tries to get to full guard but Jordan has control of the leg. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Childerley is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jordan takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Jordan missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Jordan is taking a breather. Childerley says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Childerley is trying to maintain the position but Jordan is very close to passing his half guard. Jordan is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Jordan slows the pace down in half guard. Childerley makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Childerley.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jordan looking to pass the guard. Childerley is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Jordan throws a strike but Childerley rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Jordan is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Jordan is looking to take a break and control but Childerley is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Childerley is trying to control but can't.
Jordan looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Childerley with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Jordan content to control rather than advance. Jordan seems to be working for a kimura but Childerley defends the submission attempt. Jordan throwing shots but Childerley is blocking nicely. Jordan with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Childerley wants to control but Jordan is keeping busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Childerley wants to get back to full guard. Jordan is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Childerley is just riding it out for now. Jordan eventually gives up the hold. Jordan is looking for a kimura but Childerley is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Jordan to get the leverage. Jordan is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Childerley has managed to free his arm - good work. Childerley looks like he's trying to stand up.
Jordan gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Childerley scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Childerley looks gassed! Childerley tries to stand but Jordan is controlling his head. Jordan sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Childerley really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jordan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Childerley wants to take a breather but Jordan is having none of it. Jordan keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Childerley trying to pass the guard but Jordan defending well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tom Jordan dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Childerley shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Jordan napping and manages to drive through into side control! Childerley trying to control the action but Jordan is working from the bottom. Jordan tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Childerley wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Jordan is trying to control Childerley's posture but Childerley avoids it. Sloppy strikes there by Childerley. Jordan manages to get back to half guard. Childerley wants to control but Jordan is keeping him busy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jordan makes his way to full guard, as Childerley worked for a kimura.
Jordan tries to land a sweep but no joy. Jordan bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Childerley's guard. Jordan gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Childerley is breathing heavily. Jordan tries to score a power double leg takedown but Childerley sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jordan somewhat. Childerley closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jordan goes for a takedown attempt but Childerley pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Childerley closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Jordan's guard. Jordan looking for a sweep. Not yet Jordan, not yet. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jordan manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Childerley manages to get himself to full guard.
Jordan landing with the ground and pound. Childerley throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jordan advances to half guard. Jordan throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Jordan is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Childerley is staying active underneath Jordan, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Childerley trying to control but Jordan postures up.
Jordan working the head and body with strikes. Jordan seems to be working for a kimura but Childerley defends the submission attempt. Childerley looks like he's trying to stand up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jordan content to control rather than advance. Jordan working Childerley over with strikes. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jordan is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! Jordan changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Childerley tries to avoid it but Jordan manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Childerley to the ground. Childerley escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Childerley bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. I wouldn't like to be where Jordan is right now. Jordan tries to get back to half guard but can't. Childerley working away. Childerley has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Jordan! Jordan working to try and regain half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Childerley trying to control but he's not successful this time. Jordan is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Jordan sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Childerley throws a strike but Jordan avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Childerley looking to sit in guard and control but Jordan gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Childerley preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Jordan is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Jordan wants to pass the guard but Childerley is keeping the position. Jordan passes Childerley's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Childerley takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Childerley is looking to control Jordan's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Childerley avoid being mounted? Childerley tries to kick Jordan off but Jordan keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Jordan slips a nice elbow through Childerley's hands, connecting with Childerley's forehead.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jordan is keen to just control but Childerley is a slippery customer. Childerley on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Jordan is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Childerley taking some punishment here, with Jordan in his half guard. Jordan content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Tom Jordan is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Tom Jordan just wasn't active enough. Jordan drives through with a takedown into guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jordan pushing down on Childerley's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Jordan takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Nice strikes from Jordan there. Jordan stands up and beckons Childerley to join him on the feet. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jordan feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Paul Childerley has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jordan's corner is telling him to maintain position.
And that's the end of the fight! Tom Jordan showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jordan, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
