Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Quentin Raffinski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nate Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Quentin Raffinski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nate Diaz! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diaz moves in looking to clinch but Raffinski pushes him off. Diaz has his takedown stuffed and Raffinski counters with a takedown into side control. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Diaz pushes Raffinski away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Raffinski gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Raffinski really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill... Both fighters take a look at the clock. Raffinski prevents Diaz from escaping the position. The strikes coming from Raffinski are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Raffinski sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Diaz is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Diaz regains half guard. Raffinski sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Diaz defending well though. Diaz is trying to stand.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Raffinski missing with the ground and pound from half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Raffinski can't do much from the bottom here. Diaz seems to have recovered his senses. Diaz trying to control the action but Raffinski is working from the bottom. Raffinski tries to escape but Diaz is in control. Diaz thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Diaz trying to control the action but Raffinski is working from the bottom. That's three minutes gone in the round. Diaz doesn't manage to clinch there - Raffinski circles away.

Diaz motions for Raffinski to come forward. Diaz throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Raffinski showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Diaz.
Raffinski drives through with a takedown into guard. Diaz had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Raffinski defends it easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Raffinski distracts Diaz with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Raffinski knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Diaz on the ground. Raffinski is working Diaz over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Raffinski trying to control the position from guard on top but Diaz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. This has been an exciting period of action! Raffinski is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Diaz is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Raffinski stands up over Diaz, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Raffinski lands a couple of digs. Raffinski postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Raffinski lands a couple of digs. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Diaz trying to keep a closed guard but Raffinski is proving a slippery customer.
Diaz wants to get back to his feet but Raffinski is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Diaz preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Quentin Raffinski dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Diaz throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Raffinski's waist but Raffinski gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Diaz off to one side. Raffinski shoots for a double leg takedown but Diaz sprawls well. He's pushed Raffinski's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Diaz misses with a takedown so Raffinski counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Diaz working a defensive guard here.
Raffinski throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Raffinski pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Diaz is keeping the position for now. Diaz escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Raffinski gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Raffinski doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Raffinski manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Raffinski won't allow Diaz to sweep him here. Raffinski has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's one minute gone in the round. Raffinski with a flurry of punches that miss. Raffinski working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Diaz's head. Diaz has his foot on Raffinski's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Raffinski works his way back into a safe position though. Raffinski is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Diaz is breathing heavily. Raffinski loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Raffinski works over Diaz with some ground and pound from guard. Diaz is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Raffinski might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Raffinski arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Diaz's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
