Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Xavier Orane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rafael Grygoryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Rafael Grygoryan was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Richard Clark and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grygoryan blocks the body kick.
Orane throws a chopping leg kick but Grygoryan manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Grygoryan shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Orane defends it nicely.
Orane misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Orane connects with a high kick.
Grygoryan shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Orane as he avoids it easily.

Orane throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Grygoryan's head.
Grygoryan shoots in for a takedown but Orane shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Grygoryan will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Grygoryan might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Orane has got the better of the exchanges.

Grygoryan's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Grygoryan closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Orane on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Orane tries to get out of the position.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Orane stops Grygoryan from passing to mount.
Orane knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Grygoryan on the ground.
Orane is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Grygoryan has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Orane, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Xavier Orane tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
