Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Oleg Maschanski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ian Oliver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Oleg Maschanski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ian Oliver! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, William Gold and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Maschanski connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Oliver blocks the body kick.
Maschanski takes a swing at Oliver's ribcage but misses. Oliver is looking to clinch. No joy there for Maschanski, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Maschanski feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Maschanski wants to stand and escape but instead Oliver has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Oliver postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Oliver is looking to work some ground and pound but Maschanski has wrist control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Maschanski wants to stand and escape but Oliver is having none of it. Oliver sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Maschanski's guard. Maschanski looks like he's trying to stand up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Oliver wants to free his trapped foot but Maschanski is holding on for dear life with his legs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Oliver trying to control from half guard but Maschanski is working away. Oliver stops Maschanski from getting back to his feet.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Oliver misses with a takedown attempt and Maschanski counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Oliver's guard now. Oliver not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Maschanski is breathing heavily. Maschanski postures up in Oliver's guard and throws a big left but Oliver blocks it. Maschanski trying to stand up but can't free himself from Oliver's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Oliver seems keen to control Maschanski's posture. Maschanski prevents Oliver from getting back to his feet. Oliver pulls Maschanski in to control the position. Maschanski postures up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Maschanski keeps the fight on the outside. Maschanski fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Nice sprawl there from Oliver as Maschanski shoots in. The fight stays on the outside here - Oliver looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Oliver shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Maschanski throws a series of punches but Oliver avoids them all with ease. Oliver changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Maschanski tries to avoid it but Oliver manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Maschanski to the ground. Maschanski escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Oleg Maschanski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ian Oliver. Maschanski clinches but Oliver breaks the clinch and Oliver counters with a shoot takedown. Maschanski fights it but they end up in guard. Oliver controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Oliver is looking to stand up but Maschanski won't let him. Maschanski is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Oliver keeps control of Maschanski as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Oliver decides to pull guard. That's four minutes gone in the round. Maschanski decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Oliver, up you get! Oliver checks a leg kick. Oliver has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Maschanski with a body punch. A glancing blow. Oleg Maschanski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Maschanski missing with a left hand there. Oliver was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Oliver slips under a jab from Maschanski. The fighters circling - Maschanski throws out the jab but it was never going to land. A leg kick checked by Oliver. Oliver doesn't manage to clinch there - Maschanski circles away.
Oliver closes the distance and clinches. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Maschanski wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Maschanski trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Oliver sitting in guard, not really doing much. Oliver wants to control from the top but Maschanski keeps moving.

Maschanski knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Oliver on the ground.

Maschanski is fending him off so far but Oliver persists. Nope, Maschanski circles away and we're back to standing. Maschanski shoots in and bounces Oliver off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Oleg Maschanski. I think Maschanski has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
