Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Litran Kossu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Gray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kossu comes into the arena with Holy Diver - Dio blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
23 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Litran Kossu! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, David Gray! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Emerson Jorge and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A looping hook to the body misses from Gray. Kossu does a little dance to reset his feet. A thudding body kick lands there by Gray!
Kossu has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Gray. Kossu shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Gray manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Gray looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Gray manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Kossu tries to reverse the position but Gray maintains control. Kossu wants to control but Gray is having none of it. Gray tries to control but Kossu wriggling away. Kossu is working to get back to half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kossu sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Kossu looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kossu trying to hold on to Gray's head to control him but Gray postures up.
Gray tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Kossu. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gray throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Kossu gets full guard. Gray trying to control the position from guard on top but Kossu is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Gray preventing the sweep. Kossu controlling the position. Kossu kicks Gray off and gets to his feet. Gray slips under a jab. A head kick misses from Gray. Gray thumps Kossu with a low kick. Gray blocks a jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kossu throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Gray closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. A nice right hand lands inside from Gray. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Gray tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Kossu avoids it. Gray comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Gray misses with an elbow over the top. Kossu is trying to force a seperation but Gray has the dominant position. Kossu tries for a takedown. No joy.
Gray lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
It looks like Litran Kossu has been cut. Kossu lands with a short shot to the head. Gray lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Kossu backwards. A head punch blocked on the inside by Gray. Gray keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Kossu's efforts to push away. Kossu tries to pull guard but Gray won't allow it.
Gray tries a body shot but Kossu blocks it.
Kossu lands a hook to the side of the head. Kossu misses with a short punch on the inside. Kossu is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gray blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Gray pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Gray takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Kossu checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Kossu throws a head kick that misses and Gray counters with a nice leg kick. Kossu shoots in looking for a takedown but Gray manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kossu's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Litran Kossu. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kossu throws a jab when Gray was well out of range. Gray just misses with a punch to the body.
Gray moves in looking to clinch but Kossu pushes him off. Kossu throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. David Gray is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A looping hook to the body misses from Kossu. Gray does a little dance to reset his feet. Gray throws a right hand that Kossu ducks under and follows up with a left that Kossu also avoids with ease. Kossu avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Kossu scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Gray buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Gray throws a shot from downtown. Kossu moves away and avoids it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gray darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Kossu tries a low kick but Gray avoids it. Gray throws a nice outside leg kick. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kossu misses with a leg kick. Gray throws a leg kick enabling Kossu to counter with a crisp jab. Gray scores with a kick to the body.
Gray throws the kick towards the body but Kossu avoids it. Kossu takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Gray doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Gray is looking to chop away at Kossu's legs. Gray is looking to slow Kossu down with leg kicks. A slapping leg kick lands for Gray.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Gray misses with a wild body shot. Gray lands a nice looking body shot.
Kossu throws a low kick but it's checked well by Gray. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but David Gray will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Litran Kossu's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Kossu slips a jab and a cross from Gray.
Kossu looks to score with a jab to the body but Gray is just out of range. Gray looks for the body kick but Kossu saw that one coming. Gray lands a nice looking body kick. Gray tries to work over Kossu's front leg with a kick but Kossu checks it. Gray throws a leg kick which misses Kossu's front leg but catches the back leg as Kossu tries to avoid it. Gray throws a leg kick but Kossu checks it. Kossu with a nice cross. An inside leg kick lands from Gray. Kossu is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. A head kick misses from Gray. Some bone on bone action there as Gray checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Gray avoids the body shot from Kossu.
Kossu throws a hook to the side of Gray's head but Gray sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Gray checks a leg kick nicely. Gray throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. A nice inside leg kick there by Gray. That's going to slow Kossu down.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gray tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. A leg kick checked by Kossu. Kossu shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gray as he jumps to the side. Gray finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Gray lands a jab to Kossu's midsection. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Kossu checks a leg kick. Kossu throws a shot from downtown. Gray moves away and avoids it. Gray is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Kossu rather than just go for the knockout. Gray tries to clinch but Kossu is having none of it. Kossu feints and as Gray raises his hands in defense, Kossu changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Kossu stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gray swivels though and keeps the full guard. Gray really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kossu. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Gray striking off his back but it's not causing Kossu any problems. Kossu looking to pass the guard. Kossu throws a big elbow that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kossu trying to control but Gray is working from the bottom. Kossu postures up.
Kossu works a leg free and moves into half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Gray is defending against the submission attempts here by Kossu.
Gray trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Kossu thowing shots but they're missing. Kossu pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Kossu scoring with strikes but Gray is staying in there. Gray wants to control but Kossu is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kossu punching from mount but Gray doing a good job of avoiding damage. Kossu sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Gray is trying to escape the mount.
Gray is squirming around, avoiding Kossu's attempts to control the action. Kossu connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Litran Kossu overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Gray tries to hold on but Kossu postures up. Kossu looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Gray is rocked! Kossu trying to control but he's not successful this time. Gray is still in real trouble! Can Kossu finish him? Kossu postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Gray bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Kossu and the fight is over!
