Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Thor Omega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Safertin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Safertin's choice of entrance music: You'll never walk alone. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Stewart Dunkirk and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Omega fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Safertin has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Thor Omega seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A jab from Omega does it's job there.
Omega connects with a crisp jab.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Safertin fails with an attempt to clinch.
Omega tries to sprawl but Safertin drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Omega regains full guard. Nicely done.
Omega manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Safertin manages to get himself to full guard.
Omega controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Thor Omega just wasn't active enough.
Safertin on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Omega cracks a nice hook into Safertin's ribs.
Omega scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Omega lands a lovely overhand right.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Omega fails to land with a series of punches.
Safertin darts in trying to clinch
and Omega connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Omega throws out a powerful jab.
Safertin will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Omega lands a big uppercut and Safertin crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Safertin looks OK. Omega waves Safertin back to his feet!
Safertin is rocked!
Omega throws a pinpoint strike between Safertin's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Safertin crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Omega scores a great knockout victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Thor Omega!
