Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Vanko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frederick Barbarossa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ivan Vanko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Frederick Barbarossa!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Andrew Berry and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Vanko has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Barbarossa uses from the top position.
Barbarossa is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Barbarossa really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Vanko. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Frederick Barbarossa has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Barbarossa instigates a clinch.

Vanko jumps into guard, dragging Barbarossa to the mat.
Vanko controls Barbarossa momentarily but Barbarossa frees himself.
Barbarossa is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Ivan Vanko wasn't doing enough on the ground.

Barbarossa clinches up with Vanko and pushes him back against the cage.

It looks like Ivan Vanko has been cut.
Barbarossa pushes off an throws an elbow but Vanko leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Vanko jumps guard and drags Barbarossa to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Vanko is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Frederick Barbarossa hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Vanko tries to keep at a distance but Barbarossa has taken the fight into the clinch.

Barbarossa controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Let's hope that Barbarossa has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Frederick Barbarossa hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Frederick Barbarossa is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Barbarossa must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Barbarossa postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Vanko is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Barbarossa, into his guard.
Barbarossa seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Vanko postures up in Barbarossa's guard and throws a big left but Barbarossa blocks it.

And that's the end of the fight!
Frederick Barbarossa comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Barbarossa has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
