Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fedor Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Augostino Peitexeira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Emelianenko comes into the arena with Stary Oskol Slaughterer by SLAYER blaring out of the sound system. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Fedor Emelianenko! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Augostino Peitexeira! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Steve Smith and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Emelianenko fails in his attempt to clinch. Peitexeira displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Emelianenko throws out the jab. Peitexeira lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Peitexeira dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Emelianenko tries to clinch but Peitexeira is having none of it. Peitexeira thows a left - swing and a miss! Peitexeira looks to land a left hand but Emelianenko moved out of range nicely. Peitexeira misses with a looping left. Emelianenko wants to clinch but Peitexeira slips to the side and Peitexeira counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Emelianenko slips under a jab. Peitexeira scores with a hook to the body. Emelianenko takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Peitexeira is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Emelianenko. Peitexeira rushes Emelianenko and presses him up against the cage. Peitexeira tries to work over Emelianenko's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Peitexeira manages to break the clinch.
Emelianenko steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Peitexeira. A swing and a miss from Peitexeira. Emelianenko tries to clinch but Peitexeira moves out of range. Peitexeira throws a lazy right hand but Emelianenko sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Augostino Peitexeira seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Peitexeira rushes Emelianenko and presses him up against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Peitexeira struggles to land a body shot inside as Emelianenko controls his hands.
Peitexeira tries to break free but Emelianenko pushes him back against the cage. Emelianenko misses with a punch on the inside.
Peitexeira tries to work over Emelianenko's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Emelianenko has a couple of punches blocked by Peitexeira.
Peitexeira misses with a hook to the ribs.

Emelianenko lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Peitexeira misses with a hook to the ribs.

Emelianenko is breathing heavily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Peitexeira stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Peitexeira works on Emelianenko's body with a couple of short punches. A right handed body shot lands from Peitexeira.
Peitexeira lands a hook to the side of the head. Peitexeira pushes Emelianenko back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. A right hand to the body from Peitexeira.
Peitexeira escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Emelianenko bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Peitexeira forces Emelianenko back against the cage and clinches. Peitexeira is leaning against Emelianenko and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Peitexeira's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Peitexeira throws a right and a left that Emelianenko avoids nicely. Peitexeira's corner calls for a 1-2. Peitexeira obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Emelianenko's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Peitexeira connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Emelianenko scrambles back to his feet.
It looks like Fedor Emelianenko has been cut. Peitexeira fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Peitexeira drops Emelianenko with a huge uppercut! Emelianenko drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Peitexeira is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
