The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meyers changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Letchford tries to avoid it but Meyers manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Letchford to the ground. Letchford escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Letchford scores with a sloppy right hand. Meyers should have avoided that one.
Letchford fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Meyers on the side of the head.
A solid body kick from Letchford.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Letchford, as that shot connected.
Letchford lands a leg kick that knocks Meyers off balance momentarily.
Meyers doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Letchford counters with a slapping leg kick.
Letchford looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Letchford moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Letchford throws a nice head kick!
Letchford is looking to slow Meyers down with leg kicks.
Meyers shoots in for a takedown but Letchford shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Letchford dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Meyers. That did some damage!

Letchford bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Meyers's head backwards.
Letchford's corner calls for a 1-2. Letchford obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Meyers takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Letchford scores with a leg kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Letchford lands a two punch combo.

Letchford drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Meyers right on the button. Meyers goes down! Letchford follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Letchford gets the win via TKO!
