Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ace Surprise (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Surprise kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Remember my NAME!. Silva has chosen Thunderstruck by AC/DC as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Surprise lunges at Silva with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Silva's hand.
Horrible takedown by Silva or perhaps it was just good defense by Surprise which made him look bad.
The fight stays on the outside here - Silva looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Surprise scores with a jab to the head.
Silva shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Surprise defends it nicely.

Surprise fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Silva manages to avoid it.

Surprise jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Silva walks away with a smile on his face. Surprise gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Andy Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

This has been an exciting period of action!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Surprise shoots in looking for a takedown. Silva tries to sprawl out of it but Surprise keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Silva manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Silva doesn't manage to clinch there - Surprise circles away.

Silva throws a wild body kick that Surprise sees coming a mile off.

Silva shoots for a double leg takedown but Surprise sprawls well. He's pushed Silva's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Ace Surprise has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andy Silva.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Silva is fighting off a takedown attempt but Surprise is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Silva to the mat. Silva regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Surprise postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Surprise pulls Silva in close to his closed guard and prevents Silva from doing any damage or advancing position.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Silva is sitting in close to Surprise's body. Surprise has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Silva is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Silva is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Surprise.
