The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hamara defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Nakamura.

Nakamura goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Hamara has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Nakamura but great work by Hamara.

Hamara wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Nakamura lands a left hand that snaps the head of Hamara backwards.
