Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sean Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damien Bullit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bullit has chosen Enter Sandman as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Damien Bullit!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stone connects with a solid leg kick.
Stone misses with a low kick as Bullit jumps back.
Bullit on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Stone lands with a kick to the ribs.
Stone throws a sloppy head kick and Bullit moves out of range easily.

Stone scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Bullit is trying to control Stone's posture but Stone avoids it.
Stone throwing strikes but Bullit manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bullit is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Stone will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Bullit has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Stone can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Stone postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Bullit tries to stall but Stone uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Bullit's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Bullit drops down looking for an ankle pick but Stone pulls his leg out and moves away.

Bullit takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Stone bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Sean Stone is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Stone uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Stone shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

and Stone counters with a low kick, right behind Bullit 's knee.

Stone shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bullit's guard.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Stone seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Bullit for as long as he can get away with.

Stone has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

We're going to have a standup here because Sean Stone wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Stone shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Stone's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Damien Bullit has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Well Stone has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
