Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wanderlei Menezes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Brasileiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wanderlei Menezes looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Wanderlei Menezes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jose Brasileiro! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Leandro Rodrigues and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brasileiro shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Menezes counters with a single leg into guard. Brasileiro didn't expect that. Menezes has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Brasileiro throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Brasileiro working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Menezes doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Menezes manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Menezes pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Brasileiro is keeping the position for now. Menezes knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Brasileiro on the ground. Brasileiro has his foot on Menezes's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Menezes works his way back into a safe position though. Menezes trying to control the position from guard on top but Brasileiro is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Menezes avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Brasileiro is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Brasileiro is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Menezes defends well.

Menezes doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Menezes manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Menezes trying to control the position from guard on top but Brasileiro is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Menezes is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Brasileiro is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Brasileiro has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Menezes can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Brasileiro has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Menezes should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Brasileiro has tightened it up now! Menezes should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
