Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Joe Dirt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Papabol Pol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Papabol Pol has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joe Dirt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Papabol Pol! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pol misses with a head kick.
Pol tried to score with a low kick but Dirt checks it. Dirt wants to clinch and Pol counters with a nice uppercut. A left and a right from Pol both land. Nice combination. Dirt tries to clinch up letting Pol counter with a right hand. Dirt clobbers Pol with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Dirt tries to clinch but fails miserably and Pol makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Pol on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Pol throws a nice looking combination but Dirt bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Dirt moves out of range of the body kick from Pol.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Pol rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dirt moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Pol throws a leg kick and Pol takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Dirt throws a series of punches but Pol avoids them all with ease. Pol misses the shot to the body. Dirt blocks a head kick by Pol.
Dirt is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. No joy there for Dirt, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Nice cross by Dirt. Dirt shoots in for a takedown but Pol shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Pol swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Pol throws a front kick aimed at Dirt's knee but Dirt avoids it well. Dirt changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Pol tries to avoid it but Dirt manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Pol to the ground. Pol escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. A swing and a miss from Pol. Pol misses with an uppercut.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice takedown defense from Pol. No joy for Dirt on that attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joe Dirt. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dirt tries to clinch up. Pol fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Dirt manages to avoid it. Pol misses with a jab, cross combination.

Pol tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Pol fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. An inside leg kick from Pol misses. Pol takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Dirt misses with a lunging right hand
and Pol counters with a straight right hand. Dirt closes the distance but Pol moves to the side and Pol counters with a left and a right that stings Dirt. Dirt is breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pol misses with a body kick. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Dirt. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Pol dips down and scores with a jab to the body. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A swing and a miss from Dirt. Pol looks for the body kick but Dirt saw that one coming. Dirt is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Dirt takes one to the side of the head.
Joe Dirt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pol lands a lovely overhand right. Dirt is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Dirt swings widly with a right hand
and Pol counters with a three punch combo that has Dirt backing up. Dirt nods at Pol to acknowledge the strikes. A combination from Pol does no damage. Pol throws out a powerful jab. Nice uppercut lands for Dirt. That snapped Pol's head back.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Dirt avoids the head kick by Pol.
Pol moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Dirt avoids the head kick by Pol.

Dirt throws a shot from downtown. Pol moves away and avoids it. Pol jabs Dirt to the body, keeping him at a distance. Pol throws a right and a left that Dirt avoids nicely. Pol wants to slow Dirt down by chopping away at his legs. Pol throws a wild combination but nothing lands. No joy there for Pol, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Dirt closes the distance and clinches up with Pol, looking for a takedown. Dirt pushes Pol against the cage but Pol circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Pol will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Dirt closes the distance looking to clinch and Pol counters with a nice uppercut. Pol leaves Dirt with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pol tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dirt was well out of range. Poor timing from Pol. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Dirt checks a leg kick. Dirt takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Pol tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Pol moves into range and connects with a jab. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Pol throws a head kick but Dirt moves out of range.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Dirt might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far. Dirt lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Pol throws a series of punches but Dirt moves out of range.

Pol misses with a low kick as Dirt jumps back. Dirt looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Pol slips a jab from Dirt. Pol gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Pol keeps the fight on the outside. Dirt tries to clinch but fails miserably and Pol counters with a series of strikes. Dirt will be more careful next time no doubt. Dirt throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Pol on the side of the head. Dirt avoids the head kick by Pol.

Dirt wants to clinch but Pol slips to the side and Pol counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Dirt thinking. Sloppy strikes from Pol. Those never looked like landing. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Dirt fails to land the takedown. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dirt blocks a jab. Pol tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dirt was well out of range. Poor timing from Pol. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Papabol Pol showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. A jab from Dirt does it's job there. Pol uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Dirt has time to react. Pol is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Joe Dirt has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Papabol Pol is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Pol throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
And that's the end of the fight! Papabol Pol comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Pol has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Papabol Pol! After the fight, Papabol Pol was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
