Ghirardi fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Ghirardi swats away the attempt to clinch by Guido.
Ghirardi tries to close the distance and clinch up but Guido swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Ghirardi is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Ghirardi looks for a takedown but Guido sprawls well.
Guido is looking to clinch.
Nice sprawl there from Guido as Ghirardi shoots in.
Ray Guido has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nick Ghirardi.
Guido closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Guido breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Guido swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Nice combo by Guido! Oh, that's hurt him - Ghirardi falls to the canvas and Guido follows him into side control.
Ghirardi is rocked!
Guido lands a strong strike to the head of Ghirardi. That's dazed him! Guido looking to finish here. Ghirardi is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Guido lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
