Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ben Dingdown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rajja Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dingdown comes to the cage accompanied by Baggy Trousers. Khan is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by tubular bells. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ben Dingdown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 1 - 2, fighting out of London, Rajja Khan!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dingdown thows a body shot but no joy.
Dingdown fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Khan manages to avoid it.

Khan gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Dingdown tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Khan's elbow.
Dingdown scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Khan struggles to land a body shot inside as Dingdown controls his hands.
Dingdown comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.


It looks like Rajja Khan has been cut.
Dingdown is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Khan postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Dingdown looks a forlorn figure.
Dingdown is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Poor strikes thrown by Khan there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Dingdown misses with a combination
and Khan counters with a flying knee. Nice.
A looping hook to the body misses from Dingdown. Khan does a little dance to reset his feet.
A head kick from Dingdown lands but Khan takes it in his stride.
Dingdown swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Khan slips a jab and a cross from Dingdown.
Dingdown defending well as Khan loads up on a big left hand.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Khan, as that shot connected.
Dingdown lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Khan tries to clinch but Dingdown moves out of range.
Khan gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Dingdown throws a leg kick

and Khan counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Khan wants to control from the top but Dingdown keeps moving.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Khan's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Dingdown takes a swing at Khan's ribcage but misses.
Khan ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Khan fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Dingdown on the side of the head.

and Khan counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Dingdown swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Khan uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Dingdown.
A head kick misses from Khan.
Dingdown throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Khan.
Khan misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

and Khan counters with a single leg into guard. Dingdown didn't expect that.

Rajja Khan has got the better of the ground game so far.
Khan is pressing down on Dingdown's thigh, looking to free his foot. Dingdown is holding on for now.

Dingdown throws a low kick but Khan moves out of range easily.
Khan goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Dingdown lands with a kick to the temple. Khan shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Dingdown paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Khan uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dingdown.

and Dingdown counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Dingdown keeps the fight on the outside.

Dingdown just misses with a punch to the body.
Khan tests Dingdown's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Khan jabs Dingdown right on the nose. Dingdown blinks but takes it well.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rajja Khan is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Khan takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Rajja Khan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Khan winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
