Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ultimate Warrior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aristides Vasconcelos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ultimate Warrior!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aristides Vasconcelos!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Warrior will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Warrior throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Vasconcelos's waist but Vasconcelos gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Warrior off to one side.
Vasconcelos tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Warrior paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Warrior shoots and misses
and Vasconcelos counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ultimate Warrior. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Warrior had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Vasconcelos defends it easily.
Vasconcelos wants to pass the guard but Warrior is keeping the position.
Warrior is controlling Vasconcelos's posture.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Vasconcelos trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Warrior manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
Warrior not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Vasconcelos trying to keep a closed guard but Warrior is proving a slippery customer.
Vasconcelos has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Warrior is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Vasconcelos.
Warrior has hold of Vasconcelos's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Vasconcelos tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Warrior cranks the arm and Vasconcelos screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Vasconcelos, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Ultimate Warrior!
Ultimate Warrior decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
