Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tom Nich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yve Braud (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nich kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Boom Boom Pow. Braud is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by "Here Comes the Hammer" by M.C. Hammer. Tom Nich is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Edson Gomes and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Braud keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Braud bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Nich's guard.
Braud is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Nich is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Nich working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Braud doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Braud manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Braud gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Nich has had enough of the clinch but Braud keeps him there for the moment.

Nich throws a combination. Braud tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Nich walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Braud checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Braud shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Braud showed some decent athleticism there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Braud lands a nice short elbow.
Nich is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Nich flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Braud is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Nich doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Braud.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Yve Braud showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Braud postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Nich on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Nich doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
