The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heinze tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Genova counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Genova changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Heinze fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Genova.
Jab, jab by Genova - just one landing.
Good standup being displayed there by Genova as he connects with a hook.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Heinze tries to clinch up but Genova circles away and keeps his distance.
Genova lands a nice looking body shot.

Genova connects with a right hand. Heinze shakes it off.

It looks like Andreas Heinze has been cut.
Genova fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Heinze.
Heinze looks gassed!
Genova throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Genova moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Genova drops Heinze with a big left hand and mounts him. Heinze is in big trouble!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Genova postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Heinze in real trouble here! The ref calls for Heinze to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
