Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ray Boska (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Demon Darkness (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Demon Darkness has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Ray Boska's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ray Boska! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Demon Darkness! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Winston Howard and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Darkness fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Darkness closes this distance looking for a takedown but Boska circles away. Boska lands with a nice body kick. Darkness tries to clinch but fails miserably and Boska counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Boska's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Darkness tries to clinch up and Boska counters with a two punch combo. Boska leaves Darkness with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Ray Boska has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Demon Darkness. Boska throws a nice looking combination but Darkness bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Darkness moves to clinch but Boska breaks away and Boska counters with a one-two to the body. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Darkness shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Boska but Boska pushes him off and we're back to square one. Boska stalks Darkness and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Darkness's face. Darkness staggers backwards, shaken.
That's one minute gone in the round. Darkness tries to close the distance and clinch up but Boska swats him away and circles back towards the center. Darkness shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Boska is trying to defend but Darkness finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Boska is pressing down on Darkness's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Darkness looks gassed! Darkness content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Boska is trying to control the position but Darkness postures up. Boska tries to strike from the bottom.
Darkness decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. No luck for Darkness with that takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Boska pushes Darkness away with a front kick. Boska has managed to clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Boska turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Boska manages to end up in side control. Boska decides to stand back up. Boska steps back and let's Darkness get back to his feet. Boska scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Darkness shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Boska's guard. Darkness has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Boska is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boska looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Darkness stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Boska swivels though and keeps the full guard. Darkness stopping the sweep attempt from Boska.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Ray Boska just wasn't active enough. Boska misses with a wild combination.
Boska goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Boska is working the combinations to good effect here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Darkness fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Boska will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Darkness tries a head kick but it misses.
Darkness tries to clinch and Boska cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Boska scores with a push kick. The fight moves into the clinch position. Boska has Darkness pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Darkness manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Darkness tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Boska just stands there and leans against the cage. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Darkness goes for a takedown in the clinch but Boska prevents it.
Boska misses with a hook to the ribs.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ray Boska dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Boska tries to clinch up. Darkness shoots in for a takedown but Boska shows good takedown defense. Darkness shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Boska manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Darkness would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Boska is working an open guard so Darkness takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Darkness tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. A slapping leg kick lands for Boska.
Ray Boska is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Darkness takes the fight into the clinch. Darkness tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Darkness is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. A nice left hand lands by Boska.
Boska has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Darkness after a bit of a struggle. Darkness wants a takedown but no success here.
Ray Boska has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Demon Darkness. Boska tries for a takedown but Darkness manages to get underhooks.
Darkness is working for takedown but Boska is calmly controlling the position for now. Boska escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Darkness throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Boska tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Darkness is in Boska's guard. Boska is looking to stand up but Darkness isn't so interested in that idea. Darknessis looking to pass into half guard but Boska pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Boska is in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Darkness wants to sweep here but Boska controlling him for the moment. Boska trying to control but Darkness is working from the bottom. Boska throwing strikes from guard but Darkness blocks nicely. Darkness is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Boska stands up over Darkness, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boska wants to control from the top but Darkness keeps moving. Boska is fighting to break Darkness's control of his arms but Darkness is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Darkness throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Boska trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Darkness manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Darkness wants to control from the top but Boska keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Darkness fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Boska feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Darkness is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Boska passes into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Darkness is not content to let Boska control the position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Darkness is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Demon Darkness will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Darkness closes the distance and clinches up with Boska, looking for a takedown. Darkness pushes Boska against the cage but Boska circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Boska tries to clinch but Darkness moves out of range. Darkness throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Boska makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Darkness shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Boska swats away the attempt to clinch by Darkness. Darkness has a takedown stuffed. Ray Boska has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Demon Darkness. Darkness takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Boska rushes Darkness and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boska jumps into guard, dragging Darkness to the mat.
Darkness advances to half guard. Boska wants to control but Darkness is keeping busy and won't allow it. Boska looking for submissions off his back. Darkness is working for a submission of some sort.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Boska wants to control but Darkness is keeping busy and won't allow it. Darkness perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Let's hope that Darkness has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Boska closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Boska lands in his opponent's guard. Boska has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boska trying to stand up but can't free himself from Darkness's guard. Darkness manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Darkness controlling from mount. Darkness with shots to the head and body - Boska looks very uncomfortable down there. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Darkness tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
And that's the end of the fight! Demon Darkness comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Darkness has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
