Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between P.W. Herman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). W. Herman and Mike Smith. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A solid leg kick lands there for Smith.

Herman throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Smith feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Hermans jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Herman swings for the body but Smith moves out of range.

Smith stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Herman throws a hook but Smith blocks it.

Herman shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Smith digs a good body shot into Herman's ribs.
Smith ducks under a wild hook from Herman.
Smith swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Herman counters with an outside leg kick.
Herman throws a head kick but Smith moves out of range.

Smith is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Herman.
Smith throws an overhand right that lands on Herman's shoulder, as Herman tries to avoid the shot.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Smith bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Herman's head.

letting Herman counter with a right hand.
Smith stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Herman.
Smith uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Herman has time to react.

Herman tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Smith was well out of range. Poor timing from Herman.
Smith shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Smith is rocked!
Smith throws a shot from downtown. Herman moves away and avoids it.
Smith is still on wobbly legs! Can Herman finish him?
Herman throws a powerful right kick. Smith tried to block low but the kick was high! Smith was taken right off of his feet! Herman jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
