Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Koh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Kei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Kei is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Daniel Koh! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, John Kei! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kei lands the left hand. Koh walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Decent striking displayed by Kei there. Excellent takedown into side control there by Koh. Koh thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Kei gets back to half guard. Kei tries to roll over but Koh keeps him under control. Kei with the active half guard here but Koh passes nicely into side control. Kei tries to bench press Koh off him but Koh keeps the position. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kei looks to move to half guard but instead Koh has passed into mount! Damn! Kei really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Koh wants to finish this one by submission but Kei is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Koh. Koh lands a big shot there that rocks Kei but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Kei slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Koh lands with a punch from half guard. Kei actively working from the bottom here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kei is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Koh pulls his head out easily. Koh thows a huge punch but Kei dodges it nicely.
Koh is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Kei looking for submissions off his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kei wants to improve his position but Koh is controlling well.
Kei regains full guard. Nicely done. This has been an exciting period of action! Kei looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Kei throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Koh escapes and throws Kei's legs to the side, diving into side control! Kei gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Kei is trying desperately to improve position. Kei is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Koh looking for a guillotine from mount but Kei is having none of it. Koh scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Koh is in the full mount, landing strikes. Kei is working to get back to half guard.
Koh has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Koh scores with a couple of good head shots there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Koh looking to secure an arm triangle but Kei defends it well. Koh is in the full mount, landing strikes. Koh jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Kei manages to avoid the submission attempt. Koh cracks Kei with a big elbow. Kei is trying to get back to half guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Daniel Koh will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Kei paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Koh takes the fight into the clinch. Koh lands a nice shot to the body. Koh blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Koh passes to full mount! Kei keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Koh looking to control but Kei is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kei is looking to get to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kei is in a horrible position here. Koh smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Koh lands a heavy elbow. Kei is looking to get to half guard. Koh is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Kei has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Kei is looking to improve his position but Koh isn't that keen on the idea. Koh with good strikes from the mount here! Kei really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Koh raining down hammerfists from mount. Koh fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
This has been an exciting period of action! Koh lands a heavy elbow. Koh punishing his opponent with strikes. Koh tries to control but Kei wriggling away. Daniel Koh overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Kei is desperately trying to improve his position but Koh has a good base and remains in mount. Koh can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kei is looking to escape. Koh with the ground and pound from mount.
Kei is rocked! Kei in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Kei is still in real trouble! Can Koh finish him? Koh landing strikes from the mount and Kei is in trouble! Kei is looking to improve his position but Koh isn't that keen on the idea. A big strike lands for Koh! That's really hurt Kei and he's turned his back - Koh keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Koh jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Daniel Koh!
