Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Morten Paulsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Macconi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Paulsen might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Papa Roach - Do or die. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Joe Macconi!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paulsen cracks Macconi with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Paulsen missing with a left hand there. Macconi was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Macconi dives in and grabs Paulsen's left leg, looking for a takedown. Paulsen pushes down on Macconi's head and hops out.
Macconi slips under a jab from Paulsen.
Macconi keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Macconi on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Morten Paulsen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Paulsen throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Paulsen misses with a hook. Macconi ducked under it nicely.
The fighters circling - Paulsen throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Macconi misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
A lazy left from Paulsen finds it's target.
Macconi keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Paulsen.
Paulsen lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Macconi is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Paulsen looks to land a combination but Macconi avoids it well.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Paulsen works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Macconi is still on wobbly legs! Can Paulsen finish him?
Paulsen scores with a hook to the body. Macconi takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Macconi is defended easily by Paulsen.
Macconi seems to have recovered his senses.
Morten Paulsen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joe Macconi.
Nice defenses there by Macconi.
Paulsen uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Macconi has time to react.
Paulsen jabs Macconi right on the nose. Macconi blinks but takes it well.
Macconi walks into a stiff left hand from Paulsen.
Macconi gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Paulsen gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Morten Paulsen!
A relieved looking Morten Paulsen thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
