Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kazushi Sakuraba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Stark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tony Stark will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tony Stark!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Kenichi Hosakawa and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sakuraba misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Sakuraba looks to land a right hand but Stark moved out of range.
Stark cracks Sakuraba with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Sakuraba throws a nice looking combination but Stark bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Sakuraba fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Sakuraba fails to land the takedown.
Stark scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Sakuraba drives through with a takedown into guard.
Sakuraba won't allow Stark to sweep him here.

Sakuraba is looking to advance position but Stark has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Sakuraba tries to hold on but Stark pushes him away.

Stark tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Let's hope that Stark has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Sakuraba keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Stark really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sakuraba. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Sakuraba is squirming around, avoiding Stark's attempts to control the action.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Tony Stark hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Stark bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Stark throws a push kick but Sakuraba slaps the foot to one side.
Stark throws a hook but Sakuraba avoids it easily.
Sakuraba slips under a jab.
Sakuraba keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Stark.
Sakuraba shoots in but Stark avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Stark works the jab nicely.
Stark fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Sakuraba checks it well.
Stark lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A bone on bone clash there as Sakuraba blocks the leg kick.
Stark throws a nice outside leg kick.

Stark feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Sakurabas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Tony Stark is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Stark throws a series of strikes that have Sakuraba backpedaling.
Stark misses with the combination.
Stark attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Sakuraba drives through with a takedown into guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Sakuraba gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Stark scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Kazushi Sakuraba is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Sakuraba bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Stark connects with a leg kick. Sakuraba looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Stark looks to score with a jab to the body but Sakuraba is just out of range.

Stark swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Stark throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Sakuraba stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Sakuraba closes this distance looking for a takedown but Stark circles away.
Stark throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Sakuraba stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Stark getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Stark feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Sakurabas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Stark wants to land a leg kick but Sakuraba is out of range.
Sakuraba on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Stark. Stark obviously looking to wear him down.
Stark pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Sakuraba back to the cage. Stark follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Tony Stark seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Stark buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
A left and a right from Stark both land. Nice combination.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Stark connects with a solid leg kick.
Stark throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Sakuraba's head.
Sakuraba takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Sakuraba takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Stark stuns Sakuraba with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Stark.
A shot to the body from Sakuraba misses
and Stark counters with a series of strikes. Sakuraba will be more careful next time no doubt.
Stark lands a head shot.
Stark lands a right hook to the body.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Stark lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Sakuraba has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Sakuraba and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

and Sakuraba counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Sakuraba is looking to work some ground and pound but Stark has wrist control.
Sakuraba passes Stark's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Sakuraba is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Stark is trying to maintain the position but Sakuraba is very close to passing his half guard.

Stark moves into full guard.

Stark has his hands on Sakuraba's head, controlling the position.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Stark looking for a sweep. Not yet Stark, not yet.
Sakuraba trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Sakuraba is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Stark is trying to keep Sakuraba in close.

Tony Stark showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Stark throws a leg kick but Sakuraba moved away.
Sakuraba shoots in looking for a takedown. Stark tries to sprawl out of it but Sakuraba keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Stark manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Stark smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Stark looks to land a combination but Sakuraba avoids it well.
Stark scores with a one two! Sakuraba had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Sakuraba shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Stark napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Sakuraba is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Stark has escaped the position, nice work there.
You can see the frustration on Stark's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Sakuraba tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Sakuraba has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stark is looking for a sweep.
Sakuraba goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Stark rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Sakuraba's guard! Nice work there by Stark!
Stark sitting in guard here, content to control.
Sakuraba pushes a forearm under Stark's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Stark is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
