Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ingmir Fischson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Paua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ingmir Fischson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Max Paua! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Wagner Zegers and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Paua shoots in but no luck this time. Fischson lands a nice looking body kick. Fischson closes the distance and pushes Paua back into the cage. Fischson is working for takedown but Paua is calmly controlling the position for now. Paua jumps guard but Fischson turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Fischson tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Paua just stands there and leans against the cage. Paua can't get the takedown.
Ingmir Fischson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Max Paua. Paua displaying some good clinch control by pressing Fischson up against the cage. Fischson prevents the takedown attempt.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Fischson. Fischson has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Paua uses from the top position. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Fischson is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Paua wants to stand but Fischson is controlling his posture from full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fischson has his feet on Paua's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Fischson misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Paua counters with a slapping leg kick. Fischson falls off balance throwing a combination
and Paua counters with a big head kick but Fischson shrugs it off. Fischson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Paua paws at him with a jab and circles away. Fischson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Fischson closes the distance and clinches. Fischson is pushing Paua up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Fischson tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Paua's elbow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Paua is trying to pull guard but Fischson has him pressed against the cage. Paua tries to pull guard but Fischson forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Fischson jumps guard and drags Paua to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Paua wants to control from the top but Fischson keeps moving. Paua won't allow Fischson to get back to his feet. Paua trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Fischson wants to stand but Paua is controlling the position. Fischson wants to get back to his feet but Paua passes into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fischson is trying to stand up here but Paua is controlling him well. Fischson is breathing heavily. Still in half guard, Paua seems content to control. Paua wants to stand up but Fischson is controlling the position.
Paua is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Paua stands up from mount. Strange move.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fischson throws a nice head kick!
Fischson tries to clinch but Paua moves out of range. No luck for Paua with that takedown attempt. Jab from Fischson. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Paua gets tackled into the cage by Fischson. Fischson maintains the clinch. Fischson is trying to pull guard but Paua turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Paua can't break the clinch.
Paua tries to pull guard but Fischson holds him up against the cage and eventually Paua drops back down to his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Fischson drags the fight down to the ground.
Paua prevents Fischson from getting back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ingmir Fischson dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Paua looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Fischson is fending him off so far but Paua persists. Nope, Fischson circles away and we're back to standing. The fight stays on the outside here - Fischson looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Fischson moves into range and clinches up with Paua. Paua is trying to drag Fischson to the mat but Fischson just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Fischson ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Fischson no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Paua looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Paua stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fischson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Paua trying to control the position from guard on top but Fischson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Paua not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Max Paua was stalling too much, according to the referee. Paua moves away from the strike by Fischson. Fischson gets in close and instigates a clinch. Paua gets control of Fischson's arms and successfully pulls guard. Paua will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Fischson trying to control but Paua is working from the bottom. Fischson stands and steps away. Paua gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fischson throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Paua throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Fischson's waist but Fischson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Paua off to one side. Ingmir Fischson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Max Paua. Fischson changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Fischson wants to clinch. Fischson tries to clinch but Paua moves out of range. Fischson throws a head kick that misses. Fischson tries to clinch there but Paua circles away.
Fischson clinches up with Paua and pushes him back against the cage. Fischson fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fischson wants a takedown.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Fischson tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Fischson has a couple of punches blocked by Paua.

Paua trying to control the position from guard on top but Fischson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ingmir Fischson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Paua sitting in guard, not really doing much. Paua decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Fischson, up you get! Fischson darts in trying to clinch and Paua counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fischson lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Paua at a distance.
Paua tries to clinch but Fischson is having none of it. Paua closes this distance looking for a takedown but Fischson circles away. Fischson throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Paua shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Fischson pinned against the cage. Fischson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Fischson shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Paua eats them both and turns towards Fischson to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Paua fails with a takedown attempt. Paua fails in his attempt to clinch. Fischson connects with an inside leg kick. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ingmir Fischson dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Paua fails to land the takedown. Fischson throws a half hearted mid kick. Fischson takes the fight into the clinch. Fischson manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Paua looking to sit in guard and control but Fischson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Paua controls Fischson momentarily but Fischson frees himself. Fischson wants to stand but Paua is controlling his posture from full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Paua is trying to keep Fischson in close.
Max Paua has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Fischson lands a nice shot that snaps Paua's head back.
Fischson doesn't manage to clinch there - Paua circles away.
Fischson is looking to clinch but Paua is avoiding it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Paua fails with a takedown attempt. Fischson closes the distance and pushes Paua back into the cage. Fischson taking a breather. Paua is working for takedown but Fischson is calmly controlling the position for now. Ingmir Fischson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Max Paua. Still in the clinch, Fischson scores with a nice short uppercut. Fischson is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Paua is defending well for now. Fischson is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Paua decides to pull guard. Paua is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fischson is trying to stand up here but Paua is controlling him well. Paua is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Fischson! Paua content just to control the position here. Fischson wants to get back to his feet.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Fischson is squirming around, avoiding Paua's attempts to control the action. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fischson is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Paua tries to control but Fischson wriggling away. Paua might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Fischson kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Paua takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Paua can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Fischson is looking to escape. Max Paua has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Ingmir Fischson is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Fischson wants to try and get back to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ingmir Fischson. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Fischson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
