Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Grisha Kamenow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sinisa Veljko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kamenow comes to the cage accompanied by Linkin Park - Bleed It Out. Veljko comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Stemm - Face the pain kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Sinisa Veljko is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Grisha Kamenow! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 8 - 2, fighting out of Sydney, Sinisa Veljko! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, John Mangel and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kamenow moves into the clinch. Veljko is trying to stall.
Kamenow tries to land knees in the clinch but Veljko avoids the damage to the body. Veljko trying to stall but Kamenow improves his position.
Veljko tries for a takedown but Kamenow manages to get underhooks.
Veljko tries to score a body lock takedown but Kamenow shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Kamenow being controlled against the cage. Veljko is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Kamenow is defending well. Grisha Kamenow has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sinisa Veljko. Kamenow looks to throw an elbow but misses. Veljko tries to score a body lock takedown but Kamenow shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Veljko turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Veljko manages to end up in side control. Check out the look on Veljko's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Veljko lands some shots froms side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kamenow is looking to regain half guard here but Veljko keeps moving and retains side control. Veljko just content to control the position. Veljko in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Veljko is looking to take a break and control but Kamenow is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Kamenow wants to get back to his feet. Veljko scores with punches from side control. Kamenow is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Veljko is controlling him well. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Kamenow tries to buck Veljko off but Veljko is having none of it. Kamenow is working hard here to advance position. Kamenow is breathing heavily. Veljko scores with a couple of short elbows. The referee asks Veljko politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Veljko prefers to stall for the moment though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kamenow taking punishment in the form of punches.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kamenow takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Veljko content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Veljko scores with a couple of short elbows. You can see the frustration on Kamenow's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Kamenow is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Veljko has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Veljko trying to control the position but Kamenow is working away. Veljko controls the position. Kamenow is working to avoid the ground and pound but Veljko connects with a decent elbow. Veljko working the head and body with strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Veljko in side control lands a decent elbow.
Kamenow is rocked! Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Veljko throwing shots but missing, from side control. Oh Kamenow is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Veljko has knee on belly and moves into mount. Kamenow seems to have got his legs back now. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Veljko scores with a couple of good head shots there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Veljko is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Kamenow goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Veljko!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Sinisa Veljko!
