Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dmitriy Bukharin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mad Dog Vachon Ii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bukharin comes to the cage accompanied by "Terminator 2: Judgment Day" by Brad Fiedel. Dmitriy Bukharin has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bukharin bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Vachon Ii's head.
Bukharin throws a good cross that connects.
A lazy left from Bukharin finds it's target.

Bukharin fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Vachon Ii to the ground. Bukharin is now in Vachon Ii's guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Bukharin connects with a couple of short punches.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bukharin working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Bukharin drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bukharin jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Bukharin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Vachon Ii swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bukharin thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Bukharin keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Vachon Ii's head.
Vachon Ii preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Bukharin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Vachon Ii swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bukharin with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Bukharin wants to control from the top but Vachon Ii keeps moving.

Bukharin will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Bukharin drops back looking for a leg! Vachon Ii is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Vachon Ii manages to kick Bukharin off! Bukharin jumps back into Vachon Ii's guard.

Bukharin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Vachon Ii swivels though and keeps the full guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Bukharin lands a nice short elbow.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bukharin connects with a good right hand that stumbles Vachon Ii. Vachon Ii circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Bukharin lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Vachon Ii circles away quickly and effectively.

Bukharin lands a left and a right that send Vachon Ii crashing to the mat, dazed. Bukharin thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Vachon Ii takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Bukharin lands a lovely overhand right.

Vachon Ii is rocked!
Bukharin circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Vachon Ii tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Bukharin wins by KO!
