Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jacky Chan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, QQ Moore!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Jeff Smith and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chan throws a sloppy head kick
and Moore counters with a head kick that drops Chan to the mat! Chan scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Chan is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Chan tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Oh Chan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Moore dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Chan. That did some damage!
Chan is breathing heavily.
Chan drops his hands momentarily. Moore doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Chan staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Chan doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). QQ Moore!
After winning the bout, QQ Moore thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
