Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between George Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Zlatan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diaz comes to the cage accompanied by National Anthem. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, George Diaz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, John Zlatan! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Andrew Berry and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diaz misses with a takedown attempt - Zlatan sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. John Zlatan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Zlatan doesn't succeed with the takedown and Diaz counters with a nice double leg into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Zlatan missing with punches from the bottom.
Diaz thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Zlatan to regain full guard. Zlatan doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Diaz distracts Zlatan with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Diaz prevents Zlatan from getting back to his feet. Diaz trying to control but Zlatan is working from the bottom. Zlatan is trying to control the position but Diaz postures up. Zlatan tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. A combination from Diaz does no damage. Some wild striking there from Diaz.
Zlatan scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Diaz is trying to maintain the position but Zlatan is very close to passing his half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zlatan is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Zlatan scoring with strikes to the body and head. Diaz has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Diaz wants to control but Zlatan is keeping busy.
Zlatan lands with a punch from half guard. Ground and pound from Zlatan. Zlatan looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Diaz taking some punishment here, with Zlatan in his half guard. Diaz moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Diaz looking for a sweep. Not yet Diaz, not yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Zlatan trying to control but Diaz is working from the bottom. Zlatan works a leg free and moves into half guard. Diaz is breathing heavily. Zlatan works his way into full mount! Zlatan looking to control but Diaz is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Zlatan with shots to the head and body - Diaz looks very uncomfortable down there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Diaz regains half guard. Diaz trying to control here.
Zlatan wants to pass to mount but Diaz is defending the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Diaz is in trouble now - Zlatan has advanced to mount! Diaz is looking to improve his position but Zlatan isn't that keen on the idea. Zlatan lands a nice shot to the head. Zlatan pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Zlatan lands a nice shot to the head. Diaz is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Diaz slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Diaz looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Zlatan thows an elbow strike that misses. Diaz gets hold of full guard and has managed to get a loose guillotine attempt. Zlatan doesn't seem too bothered but Diaz quickly shifts his position and has tightened the hold! Zlatan is in big trouble now - he's going a funny colour - he's tapping out! Nice finish there! Zlatan really should have spotted the danger earlier though... either incompetence or over-confidence has resulted in a big L on his record.
