Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Michael Bassu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ovca Namjera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Michael Bassu! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ovca Namjera! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Namjera misses with a takedown and Bassu holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Knees to the body from Bassu.
Bassu drags the fight down to the ground.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Namjera lands a couple of digs. Bassu is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Namjera is standing up over Bassu. Bassu looks to escape but Namjera dives into side control.
Namjera is looking to take a break and control but Bassu is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Namjera connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Bassu some visible discomfort.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bassu struggling a bit here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Namjera wants to control but Bassu is keeping him busy. Namjera looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Bassu is looking to regain half guard here but Namjera keeps moving and retains side control. Namjera tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Namjera has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Namjera trying to control the position but Bassu is working away. Namjera is chipping away with strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bassu is not content to let Namjera control the position. Namjera working away. Bassu tries to get back to half guard but can't. Bassu is breathing heavily. Namjera advances nicely into full mount. Bassu has left one of his arms exposed and Namjera doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Bassu screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
