Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jim Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sheer Bum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jim Miller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sheer Bum! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miller throws a leg kick but Bum sees it coming and moves out of range. Bum with a poor takedown and Miller counters with a nice double leg into side control. Bum won't be happy with that. Miller controls the position from side control. Miller scores with a couple of short elbows. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bum takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Miller is trying to get an arm triangle but Bum is defending well. Miller is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bum knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miller stands up and we're back to a striking position. Miller closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Miller staying calm. Miller stands up and beckons Bum to his feet. Bum looks gassed!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bum throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Miller scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Miller keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bum has hold of Miller's hands but Miller slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Well, if Miller is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Miller's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Bum really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Miller. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Jim Miller wasn't doing enough on the ground. Miller throws a wild body kick that Bum sees coming a mile off. Bum tries to clinch up but Miller circles away and keeps his distance. Bum misses with a double jab
and Miller counters with a single leg into guard. Bum didn't expect that. Bum can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Miller controls the pace. Miller slips nicely into half guard. Miller passes to full mount!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Miller tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Miller raining down shots from the mount! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Miller lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Miller scoring with strikes but Bum is staying in there. Miller is working for a guillotine from mount but Bum frees his head quite easily.
Miller punishing his opponent with strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jim Miller dominated that round. The cut man is working on Sheer Bum's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Bum is fighting off a takedown attempt but Miller is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Bum to the mat. Bum regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Miller distracts Bum with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Miller looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Miller makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Miller works a leg free and moves into half guard. Bum is breathing heavily. Miller seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Bum is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
