Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Chaly Kwidama!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Wagner Zegers and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kwidama misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Smith shoots in for a takedown but Kwidama shows good takedown defense.
Smith moves out of range as Kwidama throws a body kick.
Smith fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Kwidama lands a high kick!
It looks like Darius Smith has been cut.
Kwidama lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Smith checks a leg kick.
A slapping leg kick lands for Kwidama.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kwidama fails to land with a series of punches.
Kwidama misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Smith.
Smith takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Smith takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Kwidama slips a jab from Smith.
Smith drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Kwidama drops Smith with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Smith looks back up at him and smiles so Kwidama waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Smith is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Crack! A monster head kick from Kwidama and Smith falls like a tree - timbeeeeeeeeeeerrrr! A highlight reel knockout by Kwidama!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Chaly Kwidama! Chaly Kwidama retains his middleweight title!
Chaly Kwidama very nearly forgot to thank Ganja's Warehouse amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
