Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jep Zlasd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kelly Masters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Jep Zlasd has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jep Zlasd! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kelly Masters! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Seu Braga and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zlasd uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Masters. Masters changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Zlasd tries to avoid it but Masters manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Zlasd to the ground. Zlasd escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Masters shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Zlasd swats away the attempt to clinch by Masters. Zlasd lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Zlasd rushes Masters and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Zlasd gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Masters regains guard.
Zlasd is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Masters is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Masters has escaped and now he's on top! Masters stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Zlasd swivels though and keeps the full guard. Masters looks gassed! Zlasd is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

That's one minute gone in the round. Masters drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Masters jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Zlasd looking for a sweep. Not yet Zlasd, not yet. Masters makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Masters advances to half guard. Masters seems to be looking for submissions.
Zlasd makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Zlasd. Zlasd working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Masters doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Masters manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Masters stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Zlasd swivels though and keeps the full guard. Masters throwing strikes from guard but Zlasd blocks nicely. Masters trying to control the position from guard on top but Zlasd is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Masters stands and throws Zlasd's legs to the side, diving into side control. Masters tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Masters has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Zlasd manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Masters has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Zlasd is working away from the top position though. Zlasd is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Masters defends it well. Masters is trying to get back to full guard. Masters is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Masters trying to hold on to Zlasd's head to control him but Zlasd postures up.
Zlasd passes the guard and advances to mount! Masters is desperately trying to improve his position but Zlasd has a good base and remains in mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Zlasd goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Masters is on top in guard.

It looks like Kelly Masters has been cut. Zlasd misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Masters is still on wobbly legs! Can Zlasd finish him? Zlasd looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Zlasd darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Zlasd seems to be working for a kimura but Masters defends the submission attempt. Masters is pressing down on Zlasd's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Masters seems to have recovered his senses. Masters keeping moving, preventing Zlasd from controlling successfully. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Zlasd pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Masters is keeping the position for now. Zlasd has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Masters is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. A punch combination from Masters misses. Masters chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Zlasd can pounce on him.
Zlasd throws a head kick that misses. Masters fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. The fight moves into the clinch position. Zlasd has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Masters avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Masters throws a punch but it's blocked by Zlasd. Masters jumps guard and drags Zlasd to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Zlasd wants to pass the guard but Masters is keeping the position. Masters lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Zlasd! The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Masters cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Zlasd wants to finish this one by submission but Masters is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Zlasd. Zlasd tries to control but Masters wriggling away. Masters working to try and regain half guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Zlasd closes the distance looking to clinch and Masters counters by clinching up. Masters gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Zlasd.

Zlasd closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Zlasd has an Americana. Masters didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Zlasd is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Zlasd hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
