Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Aaron Lennon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vicky Vegas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vegas has chosen The Prodigy 'Omen' as his entrance music. Aaron Lennon is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Robert Twigg and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lennon jabs Vegas right on the nose. Vegas blinks but takes it well.
Lennon throws a head kick that misses.
A nice combination there by Lennon.
Lennon tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Lennon misses with the body kick
and Vegas cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Lennon cracks Vegas with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lennon throws a head kick that misses.
Lennon lands with a cross.
Vegas is rocked!
Vegas throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Lennon with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Lennon rushes Vegas and presses him up against the cage.
Vegas makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Vegas looks to throw an elbow but misses.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Lennon wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

A bit of stalling here from Vegas.
Vegas tries to land knees in the clinch but Lennon avoids the damage to the body.
Vegas controlling the action here for a moment.
Vegas tries to land a knee to the head but Lennon blocks with his arms.
Lennon is trying to break free.
Vegas tries to work over Lennon's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Vegas's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Vegas looking to throw knees to the head but Lennon is blocking nicely.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Vicky Vegas.
Lennon misses with a leg kick
and Vegas counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Lennon swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Lennon dips to his left and cracks Vegas with an uppercut!
Lennon throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Vegas stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Lennon follows into mount!
Vegas is still in real trouble! Can Lennon finish him?
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Vegas is looking to improve his position but Lennon isn't that keen on the idea.
Lennon stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Vegas seems to have recovered his senses.

Lennon connects with a body shot that sends Vegas's belly button to the back.
Vegas drops his hands momentarily and Lennon takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Lennon throws a head kick but Vegas moves out of range.
Lennon throws a sloppy head kick
and Vegas counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Vegas ducks under a wild hook from Lennon.
Vegas takes one to the chin there.
Vegas moves out of range of the body kick.
Lennon throws the kick towards the body but Vegas avoids it.
Vegas uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Lennon.
Vegas darts in and clinches Lennon up against the cage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Vegas throws a punch but it's blocked by Lennon.
Lennon wants to get back to striking at distance but Vegas won't allow it.
Lennon looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Lennon drops down looking for an ankle pick but Vegas pulls his leg out and moves away.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

It looks like Vicky Vegas has been cut.

Lennon stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Vegas swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Lennon stands and steps away. Vegas gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Lennon drives through and clinches with Vegas against the cage.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Vegas in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Vegas lands with a light punch inside.
Lennon has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Vegas after a bit of a struggle.
Lennon wants to break the clinch but can't.

Lennon throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Vegas on the side of the head.

Lennon feints with a jab and clips Vegas right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Vegas is sent crashing into the canvas and Lennon leaps in for the kill! Vegas tries to get to his feet but Lennon is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Vegas is in need of a savior and steps in!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:48 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Aaron Lennon!
