The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McBorin swings for the body but Rook moves out of range.
Rook swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Rook shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
McBorin tries to roll over but Rook keeps him under control.
McBorin is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Rook is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The fighters are battling for position here. McBorin manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
McBorin seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

McBorin cracks Rook with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

McBorin fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

McBorin cracks Rook with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Rook tries to hold on but McBorin pushes him away.
McBorin raining down hammerfists from mount.
Rook is working to get back to half guard.
Rook is squirming around, avoiding McBorin's attempts to control the action.
BOOM! McBorin connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Rook is rocked!
That has opened up Yuri Rook's cut even more.
McBorin cracks Rook with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
