The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Jamie Gillis has been cut.
Gillis fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Gillis throws a lazy right hand but Gambler sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Gambler tries to bum rush Gillis with a series of wild strikes but Gillis uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Gillis is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Gambler got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gillis has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gambler has managed to get both his arms back between Gillis's legs - danger averted.
Gillis wants to sweep here but Gambler controlling him for the moment.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Gambler lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Gillis has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Gillis and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Gillis shoots for a double leg takedown but Gambler sprawls well. He's pushed Gillis's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Gillis changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gambler tries to avoid it but Gillis manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gambler to the ground. Gambler escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

That was a close second round but I would say that Degen Gambler will probably get the nod.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
