Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brad Charyak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Charyak comes into the arena with Ni**as in Paris blaring out of the sound system. Tyson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Dark Tranquillity - Lethe kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Brad Charyak could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jason Tyson's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
22 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brad Charyak! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jason Tyson! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tyson throws a jab when Charyak was well out of range. Jason Tyson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A looping hook to the body misses from Tyson. Charyak does a little dance to reset his feet. Tyson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Charyak sees it coming and avoids it easily. Charyak shoots for a double leg takedown but Tyson sprawls well. He's pushed Charyak's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Tyson scores with a one two! Charyak had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Charyak takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Tyson wants to take the fight to the mat but Charyak manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Charyak tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Tyson's elbow. Charyak is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Tyson is defending well for now. Charyak scores with a nice hook to the head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Tyson tries to work over Charyak's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Tyson takes a shot to the head. Charyak tries to land a knee to the head but Tyson blocks with his arms.

That's one minute gone in the round. A short left from Tyson. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Charyak. Charyak tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Tyson avoids it. Tyson misses with a hook from the clinch. Tyson throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Tyson has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Charyak after a bit of a struggle. Charyak can't find room to land a body shot as Tyson controls the action.

Charyak lands with a light punch inside. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Charyak throws a punch but it's blocked by Tyson. Tyson has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Charyak is trying to keep an underhook but Tyson manages to get the takedown into half guard. Charyak gets full guard. Tyson missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tyson passes into half guard. Tyson uses his free foot to push down on Charyak's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Charyak. Tyson tries to control but Charyak wriggling away. Tyson moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Charyak has worked his arm free - good work by Charyak!

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Charyak seems to be working for a kimura but Tyson defends the submission attempt. Tyson is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Charyak's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Charyak's back! Tyson is trying to stick to Charyak's back but Charyak is turning into Tyson. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Tyson's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Charyak. Charyak looking to sit in guard and control but Tyson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Tyson cracks Charyak with a solid left hand. Tyson wants to pass the guard but Charyak is keeping the position. Tyson sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Charyak's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tyson sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Charyak defending well though. Tyson with the ground and pound but Charyak uses the opportunity to regain guard. Tyson trying to control but Charyak is working from the bottom. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Charyak is looking for a triangle but Tyson pushes his legs off easily.

Charyak is trying to control the position but Tyson postures up. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Tyson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Charyak swivels though and keeps the full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jason Tyson dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Tyson stuffs the takedown. Charyak attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Charyak throws a body kick that misses. Charyak throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. A head kick misses from Charyak. Charyak slips a jab from Tyson. Tyson throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Charyak throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Charyak throws a big shot that misses. Tyson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Charyak pinned against the cage. Charyak gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Tyson throws a head kick that misses. Charyak doesn't manage to clinch there - Tyson circles away.
Tyson connects with a leg kick. Charyak looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Tyson tries for a takedown but Charyak sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tyson lands the left hand. Tyson lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Charyak at a distance.
Tyson misses with a hook. A leg kick checked by Tyson. An inside leg kick from Charyak misses. Tyson throws a low kick but Charyak moves out of range easily. A left and a right from Tyson both land. Nice combination. Tyson scores with a decent looking hook. Charyak throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Charyak takes a shot right to the bread basket. Horrible takedown by Charyak or perhaps it was just good defense by Tyson which made him look bad. This has been an exciting period of action! Tyson connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Charyak's hands. Tyson fails with a takedown attempt. Brad Charyak has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jason Tyson. Tyson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Tyson throwing shots but Charyak is blocking nicely. Charyak is looking to control Tyson's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Charyak avoid being mounted? Charyak keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jason Tyson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

He's got his hand pressing down on Charyak's thigh. Charyak counters though and makes it back to full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Charyak is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Tyson wants to get back to full guard. Charyak is working for a submission of some sort.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Tyson is staying active underneath Charyak, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Tyson slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Charyak working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Tyson's head. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Tyson is on top in guard.
Tyson is looking to work some ground and pound but Charyak has wrist control. Tyson missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Tyson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Charyak swivels though and keeps the full guard. Tyson wants to control from the top but Charyak keeps moving.

Tyson trying to control but Charyak is working from the bottom. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Charyak escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Tyson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Charyak controls Tyson momentarily but Tyson frees himself. Charyak has his foot on Tyson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Tyson works his way back into a safe position though.

Tyson is in close to Charyak's body, working some short punches and elbows. Tyson trying to control but Charyak is working from the bottom. Tyson looking to sit in guard and control but Charyak gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Jason Tyson is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Charyak throwing strikes but missing. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Tyson is trying to keep Charyak in close.

And that's the end of the fight! Jason Tyson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Tyson winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
