Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randsome Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Igor Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Leandro Rodrigues and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alves shoots in but Gracie avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Alves scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Gracie makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Gracie.
Alves really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gracie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Gracie manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Alves manages to get himself to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Alves keeping moving, preventing Gracie from controlling successfully.
Alves looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Alves looking to hit a scissor sweep but Gracie is one step ahead there.
Gracie postures up in Alves's guard and throws a big left but Alves blocks it.
Gracie slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Alves is looking to regain half guard here but Gracie keeps moving and retains side control.
Alves avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Gracie.
Alves manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Gracie is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Alves tries to get to full guard but Gracie has control of the leg.
Gracie trying to mount his opponent but Alves defends it.
Alves is looking to improve his position.
Gracie content to control rather than advance.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Alves slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Gracie trying to control the position from guard on top but Alves is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Gracie is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Alves is looking for a triangle here but Gracie uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Alves looks gassed!
Gracie controls the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Alves is not content to let Gracie control the position.

Gracie is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Alves knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Gracie tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gracie has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Alves tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Gracie presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Alves is desperately trying to improve his position but Gracie has a good base and remains in mount.
Alves wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
Gracie working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Alves is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Gracie has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Alves taps out!
