The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kothciushco throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Nice sprawl there from Schmidt as Kothciushco shoots in.
Schmidt falls off balance throwing a combination
and Kothciushco counters with a big head kick but Schmidt shrugs it off.
Schmidt throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Kothciushco counters with a series of strikes. Schmidt will be more careful next time no doubt.
Schmidt rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kothciushco moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Kothciushco throws a right and a left that Schmidt avoids nicely.
Kothciushco is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Schmidt.
It looks like Krzysztof Kothciushco has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kothciushco thumps Schmidt with a low kick.
Schmidt misses with a double jab
and Kothciushco counters with a one-two to the body.
Schmidt looks winded!
Schmidt throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Kothciushco counters with a nice body shot.
Kothciushco punishes Schmidt's body with a nice straight punch.
Kothciushco lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Kothciushco lands a big head kick that sends Schmidt to the canvas! Kothciushco follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
