The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Blessed as Von Matterhorn shoots in.
Blessed missing with a left hand there. Von Matterhorn was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Blessed defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Von Matterhorn.
A looping hook to the body misses from Von Matterhorn. Blessed does a little dance to reset his feet.
Von Matterhorn just misses with a punch to the body.
Von Matterhorn ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Von Matterhorn manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Blessed on his heels. He'll look to pass Blessed's guard now, I'm sure.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Blessed can do anything to dispel that myth.
Von Matterhorn stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Blessed swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Blessed wants to hit a switch here but Von Matterhorn passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Blessed there!

Von Matterhorn throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Blessed has left one of his arms exposed and Von Matterhorn doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Blessed screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
