Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between No Chance (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Laurent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Laurent has chosen Megadeth - Symphony of Destruction as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paulsen Ambrosius and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laurent tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Chance was well out of range. Poor timing from Laurent.
Chance throws a left and a right that both miss
and Laurent makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Chance moves out of range as Laurent throws a body kick.
Chance throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Laurent fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Chance, pushing him back against the cage.
Chance jumps guard but Laurent stands there with Chance around his waist. Chance gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Laurent lands with a short shot to the head.
Chance tries to pull guard but Laurent holds him up against the cage and eventually Chance drops back down to his feet.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Laurent wants to get back to striking at distance but Chance won't allow it.

Laurent breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Laurent jabs Chance right on the nose. Chance blinks but takes it well.
Laurent throws a lazy uppercut
and Chance cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Laurent cracks Chance with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Laurent clinches up against the cage.

Laurent has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Chance drags the fight down to the ground.
Laurent trying to control but Chance is working from the bottom.
Chance had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Laurent defends it easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Chance is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Laurent gets to his feet - Chance follows without any prompting.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
