Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mr Ward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maxime Roland (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Jeff Smith and Roger Salmon.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roland shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ward as he jumps to the side.
Ward chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Roland shoots and misses
and Ward connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Roland misses with a takedown
and Ward counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Mr Ward has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Maxime Roland.
Ward is looking to slow Roland down with leg kicks.
Ward bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Roland's head backwards.
Ward lands a leg kick that knocks Roland off balance momentarily.
Roland looks gassed!

Ward lands with a hook. Roland tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Roland is trying desperately to land a takedown but Ward is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Roland.

Ward ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Ward lands a leg kick that knocks Roland off balance momentarily.

Ward lands a big head kick that sends Roland tumbling to the mat! Ward takes a step backwards and waves Roland back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Maxime Roland has been cut.

Roland leaves his chin hanging out and Ward seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Roland crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
