Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ty Tyson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Eric Lynch! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tyson misses with a looping right. Lynch blocks a head kick by Tyson.
Lynch forces Tyson back against the cage and clinches. Lynch can't break the clinch.
Lynch should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Lynch is trying to trip Tyson. He has hold of a leg but Tyson is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Lynch persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Lynch won't allow Tyson to get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lynch slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Tyson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Lynch ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tyson moves away.
