Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Gaucho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tiago Nascimento (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Daniel Franklin and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nascimento rushes Gaucho and presses him up against the cage.
Gaucho wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Nascimento has him pressed against the cage.
Gaucho wants to take the fight to the mat but Nascimento manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Gaucho breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Gaucho wants to clinch but Nascimento slips to the side
and Nascimento holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Nascimento pulls Gaucho into guard.
Nascimento is trying to control the position but Gaucho postures up.
Nascimento keeping moving, preventing Gaucho from controlling successfully.

Gaucho got a little sloppy there for a moment and Nascimento has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gaucho has managed to get both his arms back between Nascimento's legs - danger averted.

Gaucho drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gaucho jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Nascimento is on top in guard.

Nascimento stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gaucho swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Nascimento wants to control from the top but Gaucho keeps moving.
Nascimento with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

That was a close round but I would say that Anderson Gaucho will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Nascimento has taken the fight to the clinch.
Nascimento has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Gaucho is trying to keep an underhook but Nascimento manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Gaucho tries to roll over but Nascimento keeps him under control.
Nascimento really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gaucho . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Nascimento seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Nascimento decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Nascimento rushes Gaucho and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Nascimento's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Nascimento closes the distance and clinches.
Nascimento lands a good knee to the midsection. Gaucho won't want to take too many of those.
Nascimento jumps guard and drags Gaucho to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Nascimento escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Gaucho gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Nascimento is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Gaucho stands and throws Nascimento's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Gaucho looking to control but instead Nascimento has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.

The fighters are battling for position here. Nascimento manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Nascimento is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Gaucho sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Nascimento's guard.

Nascimento has one foot on Gaucho 's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Gaucho wants to clinch.
Nascimento is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Gaucho looks for a takedown but Nascimento sprawls well.

Gaucho swats away the attempt to clinch by Nascimento.
Gaucho changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Nascimento tries to avoid it but Gaucho manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Nascimento to the ground. Nascimento escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Anderson Gaucho . That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nascimento tries to clinch but Gaucho is having none of it.

and Nascimento counters with a big head kick but Gaucho shrugs it off.
Gaucho shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Nascimento as he jumps to the side.

Nascimento has picked Gaucho up - he's going for a ride! Nascimento dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Gaucho wants to control but Nascimento is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Nascimento seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Gaucho tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Nascimento has advanced to mount. Uh oh.

Tiago Nascimento comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Nascimento has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
