Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Big Pox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wanderlei Silva Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pox comes to the cage accompanied by Same Song - Digital Underground. Silva Jr comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Pendulum - Blood Sugar kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva Jr throws a body punch but Pox moves out of range.

It looks like Big Pox has been cut.
A nice leg kick lands there from Silva Jr.
Pox keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Wanderlei Silva Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Good leg kick by Pox there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

The crowd cheers as Silva Jr lands an impressive looking overhand right. Pox doesn't seem phased though.

Silva Jr tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Pox was well out of range. Poor timing from Silva Jr.
Pox takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Pox tries to clinch up but Silva Jr circles away and keeps his distance.
The fighters circling - Pox throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Pox looks up at the clock. Bad move! Silva Jr lands a right hand from hell, dropping Pox. Silva Jr pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

Wanderlei Silva Jr was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
