Isildor comes to the cage accompanied by The Hobbit Music. Takashi Katsumoto has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Brett Isildor's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
26 - 12 - 4, fighting out of Montreal, Brett Isildor! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 7 - 1, fighting out of New York, Takashi Katsumoto! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Dillan Fox and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Katsumoto closes the distance and clinches. Katsumoto blocks an elbow strike. Isildor trying to control the position but instead, Katsumoto has worked for underhooks and has pushed Isildor into the cage. Nice elbow from Isildor.
It looks like Takashi Katsumoto has been cut. Isildor leaning against his opponent.
Katsumoto escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Isildor cracks Katsumoto with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Isildor checks the leg kick nicely there.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Isildor crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Katsumoto - the referee stops the clock and Isildor gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Katsumoto. Isildor manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Isildor throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Isildor.
Katsumoto checks a leg kick. Katsumoto checks a leg kick. Isildor tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Isildor avoids the head kick by Katsumoto.

That's one minute gone in the round. Isildor throws out a leg kick but Katsumoto moves out of range and Isildor only half commits. Katsumoto clinches. Katsumoto lands with a short head shot on the inside. With the fighters up against the cage, Isildor throws an elbow but misses. Isildor takes an elbow to the temple.
It looks like Brett Isildor has been cut. Isildor comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Isildor misses with an elbow strike.

Isildor looks to throw an elbow but misses. Katsumoto misses with a short punch on the inside. Isildor tries to circle away but Katsumoto has him pinned against the cage. Katsumoto softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Isildor misses with a knee to the head. Katsumoto throws an elbow but it's blocked.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Katsumoto blocks an elbow strike from Isildor.
Katsumoto pushes off an throws an elbow but Isildor leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Isildor displaying some good clinch control by pressing Katsumoto up against the cage. Katsumoto lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Isildor backwards. Isildor takes an elbow to the forehead. Katsumoto blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Isildor is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. A battle for position here, against the cage. Katsumoto takes a shot to the head. Isildor is trying to break free. Still in the clinch, Katsumoto scores with a nice short uppercut. Isildor tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Katsumoto's elbow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. With the fighters up against the cage, Isildor throws an elbow but misses. Katsumoto takes a knee to the side of the body. Isildor throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Katsumoto blocks it with crossed arms. Katsumoto lands with a short shot to the head. Knees to the body from Isildor.
Katsumoto swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Isildor wants to stall.

With the fighters up against the cage, Katsumoto throws an elbow but misses. Katsumoto lands a nice uppercut. Isildor takes an elbow to the forehead. Isildor throws an elbow but it misses.

Katsumoto avoids a wild elbow strike from Isildor. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Katsumoto looking to stall.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Isildor lands with a light punch inside. Come on Katsumoto - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Isildor misses with an elbow strike.
Isildor lands an elbow that stopped Katsumoto in his tracks for a moment. Katsumoto throws a punch but it's blocked by Isildor. Isildor manages to break the clinch.
A punch lands to the side of Katsumoto 's head but he takes it in his stride. Isildor misses with a kick to the body.
Isildor throws a lazy head kick letting Katsumoto counter with a right hand. Isildor throws a low kick but it's checked well by Katsumoto. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Katsumoto lands a head kick. Isildor smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Isildor is rocked! Katsumoto misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Isildor throws a low kick but Katsumoto moves out of range easily. Katsumoto moves out of range of the leg kick from Isildor. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Brett Isildor will probably get the nod. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Isildor throws a body punch but Katsumoto moves out of range. Isildor throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Isildor feints and then cracks Katsumoto's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Katsumoto down. Isildor on the wrong end of a nice jab. Isildor connects with a high kick. Isildor drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Oh Isildor is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Isildor throws a leg kick and Katsumoto counters with a low kick, right behind Isildor 's knee. Katsumoto tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Brett Isildor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Isildor throws the kick towards the body but Katsumoto avoids it. Katsumoto lands a big head kick that sends Isildor to the canvas! Katsumoto follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Takashi Katsumoto! Takashi Katsumoto was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
