Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Chico Lockdown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Douglas Quaid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quaid has chosen Metallica - For Whom the Bell Tolls as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Douglas Quaid was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chico Lockdown! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Douglas Quaid! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Alec Ball and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lockdown fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Quaid throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Lockdown tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Quaid is in Lockdown's guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Lockdown is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Lockdown wants to stand and escape but Quaid is having none of it. Lockdown keeping moving, preventing Quaid from controlling successfully. Lockdown has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Quaid can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Lockdown throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Quaid's corner is telling him to maintain position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lockdown wants to sweep here but Quaid controlling him for the moment. Lockdown looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Quaid puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Quaid wants to pass to mount but Lockdown is defending the position. Lockdown is looking to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Quaid wants to pass the guard but Lockdown is defending well. Quaid looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lockdown with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Quaid has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. A nice elbow there by Quaid. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Lockdown sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Quaid looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Quaid content to control rather than advance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Quaid wants to control but Lockdown is keeping him busy. Lockdown tries to kick Quaid off but Quaid keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Lockdown trying to control here.
Quaid prevents Lockdown from improving his position. Quaid throws a strike but Lockdown avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Quaid controls from within his opponent's guard. Lockdown looking for a guillotine here but Quaid defends easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Quaid trying to control the position from guard on top but Lockdown is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Quaid advances position into side control! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Quaid in side control lands a decent elbow. Quaid landing strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Douglas Quaid dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Quaid dives in and scores a takedown into Lockdown's guard. Quaid trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Lockdown tries to land a sweep but no joy. Quaid controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Lockdown looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Quaid is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Lockdown working for a triangle but Quaid defends it easily.
Quaid is stalling in the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Quaid is working Lockdown over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Quaid is sitting in close to Lockdown's body. Lockdown has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Quaid is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Quaid is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Lockdown.
