Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mikko Ruutu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pauly Dee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dee has chosen Get Crazy-LMFAO as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Josh West and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dee throws a right and a left that both miss.
Dee dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Ruutu tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Dee lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Ruutu takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Dee throws a right and a left that both miss.
Ruutu throws a low kick but it's checked well by Dee.
Sloppy strikes from Dee. Those never looked like landing.
Dee misses with a double jab.
Dee with a nice cross.
Ruutu walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Dee lands a jab to the head.
Dee lands a right hook to the body.
Dee shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ruutu's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ruutu trying to keep a closed guard but Dee is proving a slippery customer.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dee with a nice head shot there.

Dee with a flurry of punches that miss.
Dee throwing strikes from guard but Ruutu blocks nicely.
Dee slips nicely into half guard.
Dee passes the guard and advances to mount!
Dee trying to control but Ruutu is having none of it.
Dee is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Dee fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Ruutu is rocked!
Mikko Ruutu's cut is getting worse.
Ruutu is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Dee loads up with a big shot that hurts Ruutu! He's pulled Dee in close but Dee has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Ruutu survive? More strikes from Dee and Ruutu is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Pauly Dee!
After the fight, Pauly Dee was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
