PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Durden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lyle Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diaz is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by National Anthem. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Lyle Diaz!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Andrew Berry and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Diaz closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Diaz seems to be looking for submissions.
Durden is looking for a sweep. Diaz is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Durden punching from the bottom.
Durden manages to get to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Diaz must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Durden is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Diaz's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Diaz's back!

Durden is desperately trying to improve his position but Diaz has a good base and remains in mount.

Diaz is stalling here. Durden is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Diaz seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Durden has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Durden pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Durden cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Diaz is rocked!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Durden postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Diaz bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Durden and the fight is over!
