Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mano Thao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alessandro Vascaino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thao comes to the cage accompanied by Sabotage. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Mauricio Rocha and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vascaino has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Vascaino there as he acknowledges the shot.
Thao lands with a slapping head kick.
Vascaino shoots in for a takedown but Thao shows good takedown defense.
Thao keeps Vascaino at a distance using the push kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Vascaino misses with a leg kick
and Thao counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Vascaino out cold! What a finish! Thao is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mano Thao!
Mano Thao spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
